Off to a good start

The first week had some challenges - feeling hungry and wobbly, eating out, traveling - but I made the best choices I could and am starting to feel more energy. The best part - I lost 6.4 lbs. Good start!

Hit Costco on my way home from weighing in. Stocked up on lots of great, healthy options so I can be ready for another healthy, delicious week.

First steps


Today I took the first steps on my path to health and happiness. I recommitted myself to following the Weight Watchers program - this time really following it and not just going through the motions. I have no idea how long it will take to get to my goal, but it doesn't matter. Each day I will get a little bit closer and that is enough. My life isn't going to be on hold until I get thin, so if it takes years to get to my goal, so be it. Instead, I'm going to embrace the discipline of good health and enjoy all the wonderful foods that will make me glow from the inside out.

I'm also going to enjoy myself and discover my passions. Today I spent the afternoon with Sean and Sofia...hanging out, buying plants for the deck and doing crafts. When I am with them I feel so blessed. I also got my sweet little Snickers back after my trip to Vegas. The house feels complete again.
